Open-Call: Discovery Health Looking For People For 2009 National Body Challenge

Sometimes I watch those health shows and think, “If I had a personal trainer and a team of nutritionists on me about my diet and exercise habits, I would totally have a super-model’s body.” Realistically though, I know that even with the right guidance, it’s not easy to get into shape. Discovery Health has proven that with their series, National Body Challenge.

This year, Discovery Health featured four sets of twins who were willing to be weighed and measured and then set down the path of healthy eating and regular exercise. National Body Challenge shows how tough it can be for overweight people to change their lifestyles in the hopes of getting in shape.

Discovery Health has already begun their search for the 2009 National Body Challenge participants. For next year’s challenge, they want entrants who will fit into one of the following criteria: Mother/Daughter, Father/Son, Co-workers or people who need to lose more than 100 pounds.
