Revenge Season 2, Episode 2 - Resurrection
Sunday night is packed again! Last night marked the series and season premieres of a number of shows, including the return of ABC's Revenge, which has officially moved from its previous Wednesday night time slot to Sunday nights following Once Upon a Time. Check out the promo for next week's "Resurrection" ahead...
Last season of Revenge focused on what was done to Emily's father. This season, it seems the direction has shifted toward Emily's mother. Enter Jennifer Jason Leigh! Is she the one who will be "resurrected" next week? The title could be a reference to Victoria, who's presumed to be dead, but I'd be surprised if she came out of hiding so soon. Then again, the video below does have her coming face to face with Conrad, so who knows?
"Victoria took my mother away from me. It's time I took her daughter away from here," Emily says.
Nolan says that's dark, even for her. I agree, but does anyone think she's speaking more figuratively here? Maybe Emily's planning on turning Charlotte against her mother. I can't believe Emily would be planning on killing Charlotte, especially considering she's her half-sister (but even if she wasn't, I don't see it). But getting Charlotte to not want anything to do with her mother does seem a bit more along the lines of the kind of work Emily does.
Revenge airs Sundays at 9:00 p.m. ET on ABC.
