Knowing that Rescue Me will not be back next summer, it’s good to see its cast finding other roles on the small screen. In the case of The CW’s Ringer, that comes in the form of Andrea Roth, who played Tommy Gavin’s on-again-off-again wife (and the mother of his children and nephew) Janet in the fiery drama series.
What’s a good way to describe Janet Gavin. Spirited? Loud? Demanding? Those might work. The demonstrated traits in her role on the finished FX drama series may end up serving her well as Andrew’s ex-wife Catherine in Ringer.

?What can we surmise from the above clip? She’s a slob in other people’s houses? Or she thinks her ex-husband’s home is a place to leave her stuff laying around, blast music, chain-smoke, guzzle wine and enjoy a soak in the tub? And either Juliet is being sarcastic in the presence of her mother, or she’s actually happy to see her. Bridget... not so much. Regardless, I smell major drama ahead.
