Steve Niles' Remains Preview: Chiller Delivers Zombies To Reno This Friday Night
Tomorrow night, the small-screen adaptation of Steve Niles’ graphic novel Remains will premiere on Chiller. The TV movie follows a group of people struggling to survive in Reno after flesh-eating zombies take over the world. Check out the trailer ahead.
Written by 30 Days of Night’s Steve Niles, Remains was published back in 2004. Whether you’re a horror fan or you’re already looking for a break from holiday movies, seeing people get torn apart by flesh-hungry zombie-types, while the living occasionally have the opportunity to creatively re-kill the dead could be a great way to spend your Friday night.
I screened the film today and, if you’re hoping for a Walking Dead-type adaptation in terms of the production quality, you’re aiming too high, but for those of you who love zombies and/or TV horror movies, Remains is a fun and gory escape from reality, plus it has a pretty great cast. This includes Fringe’s Lance Reddick, Ugly Betty’s Grant Bowler, and Rescue Me’s Tawny Cypress.
Here’s the trailer...
Remains premieres Friday, December 16th at 10:00 p.m. ET on Chiller
