Summer TV Preview: Lil' Bush on Comedy Central

Try to imagine what President George W. Bush must have been like as a little kid. Can’t do it? Well Comedy Central is about to give us an animated version of what W might have been like as a little tyke with their new series, ‘Lil’ Bush.’ If the show lives up to the commercials the funny-network has been airing, this new series is bound to be ridiculously funny. If it doesn’t then it’ll be just plain ridiculous.

Created by ‘Simpsons’ writer, Donick Cary, ‘Lil Bush’ is a new animated series, which centers on a younger chubbier version of the 43rd president. With his friends, Lil’ Rummy, Lil’ Condi and Lil’ Cheney, Lil’ Bush gets into lots of mischief doing normal little kid stuff like meeting new people and learning stuff (“Dang it! Why’s school always so hard?!”).

The episodes will include guest voices from rockers, Flea, Iggy Pop, Frank Black, Jeff Tweedy, Colin Meloy, Anthony Kiedis and David Grohl.

‘Lil Bush’ premieres on Comedy Central on Wednesday, 6/13 at 10:30 p.m. EST.
