True Blood Season 5, Episode 10 - Gone, Gone, Gone

What are the odds that the pretty vial of blood that supposedly belongs to Lilith is just some regular old human blood mixed with a hallucinogen of some sort? Is that too much of a stretch? The preview for what's ahead, including next Sunday night's episode of True Blood focuses pretty heavily on that blood and talk of a "chosen one." But where's it all going?

With three episodes left to the season and a couple of distracting story arcs more or less wrapped up, I'm hoping we'll see a bit more focus in these last few episodes. The preview for the last three episodes has Eric on his knees and seeming fairly resigned to his fate. There's something very Godric-like about the way he appears to be ready to meet the true death.

Sookie looks ready for a fight. Lilith is "back" and telling someone to drink all of her. Who's going to do it? Bill as the "chosen one"? Russell as the power-crazed one? Again, I'm forced to wonder if that blood isn't really just spiked with something, making the drinkers hallucinate. Seems like everyone who believes in this Lilith situation has had a taste of it before hand...

We also get a look at what appears to be Jason laying in the dirt unconscious and Jessica curled up next to him. It looks like she's in the maker position but is this a trick?

True Blood airs Sundays at 9:00 p.m. ET on HBO. Read our breakdown of last night's "Everybody Wants To Rule The World" here.
