The Walking Dead Preview: Season 2, Episode 7 - Pretty Much Dead Already

It’s hard to believe we’re already looking at the fall finale for AMC’s The Walking Dead. Fortunately, unlike last season, at least the zombie drama will be returning with more new episodes next February. We have a clip from this Sunday’s episode, which is likely to be a big one!

It was just a matter of time before Rick learned about the zombies in the barn. In the clip from “Pretty Much Dead Already” (titled after the friends and family currently “living with” walkeritis in the barn?), Rick and Hershel face off in a conversation about the barn situation and what the plan is going forward. They seem to have a difference of opinion.

This season has done a really nice job of focusing on perspectives and reactions. We’ve seen how Shane and Rick’s perspectives differ as far as they view the choices that need to be made for survival (of the group vs. the individual). And Lori's opinion differs from Rick's on whether or not there’s any chance of a future for the children. Andrea and Dale have been at odds with one another over Andrea’s almost-decision to die at the end of last season. And this Sunday, it looks like Hershel and Rick’s (and the general population’s) difference in opinions of the walkers will be one of the focuses of the mid-season finale. It’ll be interesting to see where this leads and how the half-way point of the season leaves off.

The Walking Dead airs at 9:00 p.m. on Sunday night on AMC.
