Ubisoft has released a third entry for "Inside Assassin's Creed 3," the behind-the-scenes documentary series for the open-world action game. This particular video talks about Connor, the new Assassin at the heart of this tale.
Connor is a half-Native American, making him the first non-white protagonist in the series. The game's plot will span thirty years of his life. We'll see Connor grow from a young sapling into an experienced Assassin who plays a major role in the American Revolution.
Connor's Native American background informs his abilities in many ways. His main weapons are a Tomahawk and bow and arrow, both firsts for the series. He's also very comfortable in the wilderness. He can run along tree branches and cliffs as easily as Ezio could navigate the rooftops of Rome.
Ubisoft is taking Connor's Native American heritage very seriously. As previously stated, they've hired a consultant to make sure that all the cultural details are accurate. The character's voice actor is Native American as well.
AC3 will debut on October 30th in North America.
