Cyberpunk 2077 Teaser Trailer Looks Killer

CD Projekt Red released the very first teaser video trailer for Cyberpunk 2077, the next-gen RPG and it looks...well...it looks amazing to put it simply. It's a visual buffet of glorious CG(?) set to still images of a dark futuristic society where a group of police are trying to take down a cyborg.

CD Projekt has always been known to push the limits of visual fidelity on small budgets, and it's obvious that there's a lot to look forward to with Cyberpunk 2077 but wow oh wow does this trailer get cyberpunk fans excited...check it out below to see why.

Anyone know what song that is that plays in the background? It was pretty rad.

Also, a few things worth noting:

* The police car looks similar to the one from Blade Runner. Totally awesome.

* The Gothic-style architecture set to futuristic designs also seems to borrow inspiration from Blade Runner.

* I like that they're not using laser weapons but ballistics-based guns, so it shows that there's some scaling to the universe in terms of modern versus space-age designs.

* The cop who points the gun to the head of the killer cyborg looks to have some augmentations as well, which seems to mirror Albert Pyun's Nemesis.

There's a lot of little things scattered throughout that looks steeped in the mythos of cybermacy and I'm definitely digging it. This little teaser will go a long way in keeping fans on the edge of their seats for CD Projekt's upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 RPG. Can't wait to see more.
