Destiny's expansion The Dark Below will be launching later tonight. In the hours leading up to the DLC's release, Bungie is teasing some of the loot players can earn through it.
DrCrispy93, currently in control of the official Destiny Twitter account, has been sharing brief videos of these new items. Here are the three armor items he revealed, each providing some edge to the Guardian wearing them:
The Dark Below brings players new weapons as well. Bungie's added some real wild cards. For example, the Murmur fusion rifle can cause two different types of damage:
You don't need to buy The Dark Below to get new items, though. Bungie has created Exotic and Legendary gear that's available to everyone, regardless of whether they have DLC.
The Dark Below adds new story missions along with a Strike and Raid. On the PvP side, players can expect three new maps along with Premium playlists.
The expansion will go live at 1AM PST, or 4 AM Eastern. The new raid, Crota's End, will be available immediately so the race for world first can commence.
