Real-time strategy game Dawn of War II beat out World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King two weeks in a row in US PC sales but now both games have been bested by a new challenger: Creative Assembly's Empire: Total War.

Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning opened up ten-day free trials last week and it seems the move paid off for them. I can't remember the last time they cracked the top ten.
