Indonesian based developers Tinker Games has let loose a new gameplay video for their upcoming side-scroller arcade shooter, INheritage: Boundary of Existence. The game is still heavy in development and the new trailer focuses on the game's anime-inspired story and fast-paced side-scrolling arcade action.

As mentioned in the press release...
Based on Indonesian folklore (see Story section), INheritage mixes 2D graphics and animation with anime-like cut scenes -- in Indonesian with English subtitles no less. The game breaks a lot of shoot ‘em up rules (like actually having a plot) but still adheres to basic tenets like enemy waves, pattern recognition, special attacks, power-ups and massive boss fights. The gameplay is fast and furious just like you’d expect, INheritage just adds a whole new layer to it.

Gamers looking for something that throws back the expectations to simple things like a well told story and some fun gameplay may not find a bad deal in INheritage. It's always tough trying to sell an arcade shooter to the masses because it has such a niche appeal, but if the game is good and has a real hook it just might be able to find an audience and standout from all the other titles out there (which might be a bit difficult to due on iOS).

Still, the game will be available in a lite version for free on Apple's mobile handsets, with the ability to unlock the full game for a one-time payment of $1.99. The game is scheduled to arrive for PC at an undisclosed date.

You can learn more about the game by paying a kind visit to the official Inheritage Website. This arcade shooter is slated for release on June 4th.
