In case you're not the sort of person who demands photorealism out of a game that involves Bill Murray hunting ghosts, Red Fly Studio is preparing a Wii version of Ghostbusters with stylized, cartoonish graphics. The game's still a few months away but that doesn't mean they can't dump a few screenshots on us here and there.

When it comes to multi-platform games, generally the Wii version ends up being the runt of the litter but the Wii Ghostbusters looks pretty good. Rather than simply offering up a lower resolution version of the Xbox 360/PS3 versions' graphics, they're opting for a unique art style. They're using the Wii motion controllers in an interesting way, too. After wearing down a ghost with your proton gun, you snatch it with your grappling beam and then slam them into walls and furnitures with your Wiimote. After that, you slide your trap underneath by thrusting your nunchuk to finally catch the evil spirit.

Ghostbusters will be released on the PC, PS3, Xbox 360, PS2, Wii and DS on June 16th.
