New 60-Second Chronicle Spot Doesn't Have Much New Footage, But Still Looks Awesome
We've said it before and we'll likely keep saying it until it's no longer true: 2012 is an amazing year for fans of superheroes. Over the next few months, the Hollywood studios are bringing us The Dark Knight Rises, The Avengers, The Amazing Spider-Man and Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. But don't discount the indie scene. We've been telling you about Chronicle, a found footage superhero movie from director Josh Trank and writer Max Landis, since last October and it's one of our most anticipated films coming out this year. Now a new trailer for Chronicle has hit the web via IGN and you can check it out below.
Sadly, this trailer doesn't offer much in the way of new footage - it's basically the same as the first one, only cut differently and it's a bit shorter. The movie is coming out in early February, so unless the TV spots are jammed with tons of never-before-seen stuff, this is all we're going to get until we're sitting down in a theater munching on some popcorn. The film stars Michael B. Jordan, Michael Kelly, Dane DeHaan, Ashley Hinshaw, Anna Wood, Alex Russell, Joe Vaz, Luke Tyler and Matthew Dylan Roberts and arrives on February 3rd.
