Cruise Planning Another Impossible Mission?![]()
You have to admit that Tom Cruise has a pretty cushy career at this point. He can do all the messing around he wants, and after a failure or two just return to do a project with Spielberg or do another Mission: Impossible film. Considering Cruise and Spielberg’s collaborations haven’t even been all that special, it’s clear the actor should keep building on his super spy Ethan Hunt, evident by the fact that Cruise is reportedly in the early planning stages for another impossible mission.
A reader over at AICN wrote in after seeing Cruise on a popular Japanese program. The actor told he program that he was in the early stages for a fourth Mission: Impossible, working on the story right now. He also said he’d love to do a big action sequence in Tokyo, which is actually a pretty cool idea. Imagine what sort of acrobatic mischevious break-in Ethan Hunt could get into in a city like that. The Mission: Impossible movies have been pretty interesting. At the worst they’ve been guilty pleasures and at the best they’ve been some good popcorn entertainment. I can’t see a fourth chapter really being a high priority for Cruise, but developing it now might give him something to fall back on the next time he goes nuts and starts jumping on Oprah’s couch. |
