There's already been one Daily Show alum currently starring on The Office who played a bumbling intelligence agent, and that man was Steve Carell in Get Smart. Is there really room for two? How about if the next person is the ever-lovable Ed Helms?

Yeah, I thought you'd be OK with that. Helms is attached to the Universal Pictures spec script Central Intelligence, in which he'll star as an accountant who reconnects with an old friend on Facebook, and is thrown into the world of international espionage. Based on the Variety description it doesn't sound like Helms will actually play-- seems more like a Chuck situation, in which an average guy is trusted with state secrets despite absolutely no training.

Though Zach Galifianakis was the real breakout star of The Hangover, Helms has done quite well for himself as well, graduating from a beloved member of the Office ensemble to a reliable star in his own right. I've never been able to get enough of him on The Office, so the more movie deals with his name attached, the happier I'll be.
