Now that she’s successfully ruined two comic book superhero franchises, Halle Berry is getting back down to the business of being Hollywood’s hottest, and most overrated dramatic actress. Oh come on, she’s not that good. I’d scream too if I had to have sex with Billy Bob Thornton. That’s not acting, it’s an uncontrollable reaction.

Our friends over at Moviehole say Halle has signed up for the lead in a movie called Who is Doris Payne. She’ll play Doris, a jewel thief who eluded capture for 75 years. Even more interesting, she committed her crimes using feminine wiles. She dressed sexy, glided into the store, charmed the clerk with a story, and somehow slipped out with a valuable bobble she didn’t pay for. The real Doris Payne is still alive… and in prison.
