Has J.J. Abrams' Super 8 Been Retitled Darlings?

When the first trailer for Cloverfield first came out in 2007, it didn't have a title. Soon, word leaked that the movie would be called Cloverfield, but people largely assumed that it was a working title, as it really made no sense in regards to a giant monster attacking New York City. When the trailer came out for J.J. Abrams' Super 8, however, it sounded pretty legitimate, particularly because the film is about a group of teens who film an alien on their super 8 camera. But now we find out that the movie's new title may be Darlings.

Movie Web has found a Brazilian trailer for the film, which is exactly the same as the one released back in May, only instead of having the title Super 8 at the end, it's labeled Darlings, which makes little to no sense. Hopefully this is just an example of a strange international title, but we will let you know more about it as soon as we do. For now, check out the new trailer below.
