There was a time when the idea of a movie about LEGOs had the blogging community collectively rolling their eyes. But put in the odds-defying hands of Phil Lord and Chris Miller, The LEGO Movie arose as something fun, fresh and totally entertaining. Over the past week, the animated adventure has gained almost unanimous praise from the critic community, earning an insanely high approval rating of 99% on Rotten Tomatoes. Between this and record-breaking ticket pre-sales, The LEGO Movie is poised to be a big hit with audiences. So you might want to know how to buy its bit of Mondo mania, right?

Mondo is the company that's made movie posters a thriving art form once more, and Yahoo has unveiled their latest effort, a tribute to The LEGO Movie.

Created by artist Tom Whalen, the poster is painted in big and bold colors and features a wide-array of the film's ensemble. Front and center with a cup of overpriced coffee in his hand is our hero Emmet. Voiced by Chris Pratt, he is destined to save the lands of LEGO from the vile schemes of Lord Business (Will Ferrell). This villain can be spotted on the yellow column of LEGOs, and behind him stands his minion Good Cop, played by Liam Neeson. Surrounding Emmet are his fellow Master Builders, like Superman (Channing Tatum), Batman (Will Arnett), Wonder Woman (Cobie Smulders), Abraham Lincoln (Will Forte), Vitruvius (Morgan Freeman), Benny The Spaceman (Charlie Day), UniKitty (Alison Brie), and of course the one and only WyldStyle (Elizabeth Banks).

It's pretty spectacular looking, but this limited edition 18" x 24" screenprint will only be made available to 475 buyers. It goes on sale for $45 today at MondoTees.com, and you'll need a bit of luck as sale windows are said to be "random" throughout the day. In the meantime, revisit the movie's cheery trailer, and check out To 3D or Not To 3D to choose the right LEGO Movie ticket.
