The Hunger Games: Catching Fire Finally Reveals Finnick's Victory Portrait
Hunger Games fans have been waiting for this one.
Earlier Katey expressed her disappointment in the Victory Portrait that was released for Gale - saying "his presence in this series is entirely nonsensical" - but now we get the portrait that Catching Fire fans have really wanted to see: Sam Claflin as Finnick Odair. Check it out below, courtesy of MTV.
Granted, this actually isn't the first time we've seen an image of Finnick, as he was previously featured in THIS official still, but this is the first time he's actually facing the camera and wearing one of the Capitol's ridiculous get-ups. How strange it must be to live in a world where's its fashionable to wear pirate shirts and jester pants.
So who could be next? We've seen Effie Trinket (Elizabeth Banks), Caesar Flickerman (Stanley Tucci), Cinna (Lenny Kravitz), Haymitch Abernathy (Woody Harrelson), Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence), Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson), Johanna Mason (Jena Malone), and Beetee (Jeffrey Wright), but there are still a few missing names on that list. Could we soon see Philip Seymour Hoffman as Plutarch Heavensbee, Toby Jones' Claudius Templesmith or Donald Sutherland back as President Snow? Perhaps we shall find out soon.
Directed by Francis Lawrence, who takes over the director's chair from Gary Ross, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire finds Katniss and Peeta celebrated as heroes for winning the 74th annual Hunger Games, but find trouble the next year. With the 75th year comes the Quarter Quell, a year where the rules for The Hunger Games change and anything can happen. And that's how the winning duo from District 12 find themselves back in the arena. For all the latest updates about the movie head over to our Blend Film Database.
