Trailer: Ricky Gervais Awkwardly Introduces Cemetery Junction![]()
Ricky Gervais’ next film is called Cemetery Junction, which makes it sound like a sequel to Ghost Town even though it actually has nothing to do with ghosts. The film is actually a period piece, set in the 70s, about being trapped in a small town and wanting to get the heck out. It’s Ricky’s second turn as a director, he’s already finished The Invention of Lying which should be out in theaters later this year. Cemetery is still shooting in London, but Ricky’s never one to waste time and it already has a teaser trailer.
The teaser contains no actual footage, but it does feature Ricky, his co-writer/co-director the incredibly tall Stephen Merchant, and a somewhat put out Ralph Fiennes. It’s also hilarious. Watch the awkward first ever teaser for Cemetery Junction below:
