Watch Danny Boyle's Olympic James Bond Short Film Starring Daniel Craig And The Queen Of England

Back in April there was a report from The Sun, one of the most unreliable tabloid newspapers in Britain, that said director Danny Boyle had actually managed to get security clearance that would allow him to make a short film for the Opening Ceremonies of the Olympic Games not only starring the Queen of England, but also Daniel Craig as James Bond. Because of the source, the report's close proximity to the April Fool's Day holiday and the awesomeness of the news, it was a bit hard to believe the story at the time, but guess what? Not only is it real, but it's now online.

Though many Americans are only getting to watch the ceremonies now - there was a tape delay out of the UK, unfortunately - the short film played on the BBC earlier this afternoon and has now found its way to YouTube. It's hard to say how long it will stay up, so watch now while you can!

Gives a whole new meaning to Skyfall, doesn't it?

Speaking of the next 007 adventure, the Sam Mendes-directed movie is set to be released on November 9th and you can see trailers, stills, news and more in our Blend Film Database.
