World War Z Debuts A New Poster And Six New Images
As you can probably tell by the title, World War Z isn't a zombie movie that's limited to the size of a shopping mall. Instead, the film is a globe-spanning epic, following Brad Pitt's character Gerry Lane, a United Nations employee, from country to country as he tries to discover a cure for the horrific outbreak. And I can imagine that throughout the film he has many opportunities to take off in some sort of aircraft and look back down at the destruction on the ground - as seen in this brand new poster.
But that's not all. Not only has Paramount sent out the new one-sheet that you see above, they have also issued six brand new stills from the movie. Most of the images feature Pitt in some sort of growing panic, but there are also some pretty cool action shots and you can see a glimpses of co-star Mireille Enos. See all of the shots below and click on each one to see it in its highest resolution.
The film, directed by Marc Forster, has taken quite a long time to get here, but after a good number of delays it will finally be in theaters on June 21st. In addition to Pitt and Enos the film also stars Matthew Fox, David Morse, James Badge Dale, and Eric West. Matthew Michael Carnahan, who previously wrote State of Play and The Kingdom, wrote the script, though both Cabin in the Woods' Drew Goddard and Star Trek Into Darkness' Damon Lindelof were brought in late in the game to do third act rewrites for reshoots.
