Robby's Return Is Confirmed In The Pitt's First Season 3 Footage, But I'm Worried About Someone Else

It’s time for Robby to clock back into The Pitt, and it’s time for us to see what his colleagues have been up to since he left. In the first teaser trailer for the highly anticipated third season of The Pitt, we got a pretty good look at all of that. From Noah Wyle’s character stepping back into the ER to the disasters that are to come, the tone has been set for Season 3. However, amid all that, there was footage that made me very worried about someone (and it’s not Dr. Robby).

Overall, this teaser (which you can see above) makes it abundantly clear that everyone is on edge and anticipating Robby’s return. We know he went on a sabbatical after the events of Season 2, and it was very obvious that multiple characters were worried about him leaving and potentially not returning. Well, now he’s back; he seems OK, but there are still questions about how he’s really doing.

So, yeah, obviously, there’s reason to worry about Robby. Noah Wyle’s character is kind of a loose cannon, even though he’s also the guy who helps run the ER.

However, I think I’m more worried about Langdon. Season 2 tracked his first day back at work after being ousted for stealing drugs, and Season 3 will pick up after he’s been back for a few months. I have to say, he does not look good.

First of all, he has a five o’clock shadow, which, to me, implies that he might be off his game, since he’s been clean-shaven for the first two seasons. Along with that, there’s a shot of him looking exhausted in a chair, which tells me he’s not doing great.

All this is to say, I’m very concerned about Frank Langdon.

More to come
