Robert Pattinson, Paul Giamatti And More Featured In New Cosmopolis Images

If you're like us then your jaw has been on the floor since the first teaser trailer for David Cronenberg's Cosmopolis dropped one week ago. In addition to showing us a very different Robert Pattinson than the one we've gotten to know in the Twilight movies, the preview also showed us that this could be the film that brings Cronenberg back to his roots. We're eagerly anticipating the feature length trailer, which, sadly, we probably won't see for a while, but for now we have four brand new stills from the movie.

The official Cosmopolis website has posted the new images (they rotate through the background on the homepage), which feature not only Robert Pattinson, but also his terrific lineup of co-stars including Paul Giamatti, Juliette Binoche, and Sarah Gadon. Check out the pictures below and click on each one to see it full size.

Based on the novel by Don DeLillo, Cosmopolis centers on a 28-year-old billionaire named Eric Packer (Pattinson) who is riding across Manhattan in a private limousine to go get his haircut. His eyes are fixed on the stock exchange and the yuan's exchange rate, as his bet against it is going to steal his fortune. As he rides, craziness begins to unfold on the New York streets and as puts the pieces together he realizes that he is going to be assassinated. The film does not yet have a distributor or release date, but for more about the title you can head over to our Blend Film Database.
