Do You Think Demi Moore's Problems Were The Real Divorce Cause?

When Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher’s marital problems first became public, his extramarital trysts were most often singled out as the main issue. One of the women he supposedly bedded, Sara Leal, ran with the opportunity and offered explicit and lurid details of the encounter including the fact that he didn’t wear protection. For days and days, the rumors and stories of his misbehavior piled on top of each other until Moore finally decided the relationship was over. Divorce proceedings were set in motion and the majority of the onlookers placed the blame squarely at his feet.

In retrospect, it’s not surprising he received the lion’s share of the finger points, but now it seems as if his wife may not have been quite so faultless. Two days ago, the actress was rushed to the hospital, supposedly after suffering a seizure from doing Whip-Its. That sketchy decision hasn’t been publicly confirmed by her people, but by the next day, the forty-nine year old mother announced she was seeking treatment for “exhaustion”. Many anonymous sources have since come forward claiming substance abuse has been a problem in her life for awhile, and People is now alleging that issue was one of the reason why Ashton and Demi ultimately called it quits. He apparently wanted her to clean things up, and she refused.

If all of this is to be believed, it really paints a different pictures of what led to the couple’s split. Maybe he wasn’t really the only culprit. Or maybe it was those rumored infidelities that led her into rehab. What do you think? Does Demi going to rehab change your opinion of the couple’s divorce? Let us know by voting in the poll below…
