Donald Trump Says He'll Donate $5 Million In Exchange For Obama's Records

Donald Trump’s “very big” announcement about President Obama came as promised this afternoon via YouTube video, but it wound up being less of a big reveal and more of an extension of his widely discredited birther theory. If POTUS is wiling to turn over his college records and his passport applications by October 31, the mogul has promised to donate five million dollars to any charity of Obama’s choice. Assumedly, if he doesn’t, it’s Trump’s hope people will wonder what he has to hide.
You can take a look at the offer below…
There are a small minority of people in this country who are convinced Obama should be ineligible for the presidency because he was born in Kenya. There is an overwhelming majority of people in this country who are convinced Obama was born in Hawaii just as everyone has always said. Recently, Trump’s loud shouts about the issue convinced the President to turn over his longform birth certificate, but for whatever reason, that obviously hasn’t satisfied the Donald.
Public perception, like business, is often about trusting your own instincts. The Donald has made a fortune throughout his life by recognizing trends in the real estate market and moving forward. Unfortunately, he almost certainly has backed the wrong horse with this whole birther thing.
According to Politico, Obama’s advisor David Plouffe responded to this mess by saying all questions should be referred to Romney’s camp since Trump is an outspoken supporter of the former governor. Translation: we’re not even dignifying this offer with a response.
