Camilla Luddington Earns Recurring Role On Grey's Anatomy
Playing Kate Middleton in a TV movie has really been a boon to Camilla Luddington’s career. After playing the famous British royal family member, the English actress hopped over to American TV roles, earning a casting in the hit Showtime series Californication, where she played a nanny. Now, the actress is being featured in 6 episodes of HBO’s True Blood in a role that is about to get more exciting, as she is set to help Sookie work to be a better fairy. However, despite it being exciting to play a fairy, I can imagine Luddington has been looking for a more permanent position to add to her resume.
It seems the actress had no trouble moving on to greener pastures. The William and Kate actress is heading to network television, where she will have the opportunity to work to earn a full-time role. According to Deadline, Luddington is headed to ABC's Grey’s Anatomy, where she has nabbed a recurring role with the possibility to move up to a season regular after a year on the show.
Luddington will play a new doctor on the veteran program, which makes a lot of sense, as the show lost a few of its best and brightest during last season’s finale. Here’s to hoping Luddington gets a better break than Lexi did on the popular medical drama.
