Last night’s episode of Dexter took an interesting turn at the end of the episode. The big twist comes into play in both of the clips we have to show you from next week’s episode. If you’re not caught up on the series, read no further!
Next Sunday’s episode of Dexter is titled “Nebraska,” and we’ll get to the reason why in a minute. Before that, let’s talk about last night’s twist! After Dexter disregarded Brother Sam’s advice to “just let go,” and killed Nick, instead of seeing Harry on the beach, he saw his brother Brian. So why is he channeling his evil brother instead of the voice of reason that was Harry? This video may give us some clue...
I like that Brian refers to Deb as “the one that got away.” Too true. Too True. More to the point, based on the conversation between Brian and Dexter, I’m thinking Dexter’s dark passenger is looking to scrub the influence of the recently deceased Brother Sam from Dexter’s mind, and what better way to do that than to re-introduce an old connection?
Speaking of old connections, Brian’s not the only former big-bad making a return. Trinity is back! Kind of... Dexter’s the only person alive that knows what really happened to Trinity. As far as everyone else knows, Trinity is alive and merely escaped the police. That makes him ripe to be blamed for a killing that’s extremely similar to Trinity’s style...
Dexter may need to take a little road-trip to Nebraska!
Dexter airs Sundays at 9:00 p.m. on Showtime.
