True Blood Season 5 Comic Con Trailer

Given all that’s gone down in True Blood’s four plus completed seasons, it takes a lot to shock fans and put them on the edge of their seats, but that’s exactly what happened a few minutes ago at the official Comic Con Panel. As the event was about to begin, creator Alan Ball and company dropped a surprise trailer outlining the rest of season five, and it is everything you’d expect and more.

From messing with Sookie’s memory to Lafayette participating in some kind of séance, madness abounds throughout, and if you watch the show regularly, you should probably take a look immediately.


Even before this video, I already felt overwhelmed by all the crazy shit going on in True Blood. Thus, I can’t even begin to comprehend what I just watched. Death is everywhere. I want to know what the hell Jessica is so worried about. Even more than that, I want to know what the hell Russell is about to get up to. I want to know it all immediately---like who is about to get real busy.

New sex wasn’t really alluded to much in the trailer, but Ball said during the panel a few minutes ago that three new romances will be introduced by season’s end. He was unwilling to hint at who exactly might get busy, but I’m sure there are as many possibilities racing through your head as there are mine.
