The Walking Dead Season 4 Videos Tease Daryl The Badass, Rick Digging And A Look Back
"If you believe what you're fighting for, it comes out badass," Norman Reedus says in the above video, when attempting to explain what makes his character Daryl a badass. Daryl certainly believes in what he's fighting for. He also seems to take some measure of pride and enthusiasm in getting it done, whatever "it" may be. The above video is one of a few recently released videos to show up days ahead of the anticipated Season 4 premiere.
Yes it's nearly October 13! Season 4 arrives this Sunday night, and in addition to the Daryl-badass video above, we also have this one, which gives us a look at Season 4, and Rick in particular, who's got some business to attend to.
At the start, it's almost as though we're looking at Rick the farmer, just a regular guy, out in the fields on a regular day. He gets out there and we know that there are walkers beyond the fence, but the focus is on Rick, who appears to be tilling the field, until we see him dig up a revolver. Typical Rick. And that's when the walkers come closer into view and the true setting of this story comes into focus. Rick's not a farmer. He's a former law enforcer who's now among the people trying to live in the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse.
Finally, this video shows us a features executive producers Greg Nicotero, Scott Gimple and Robert Kirkman, and cast members reminding us where things left off at Season 3:
Rick began to see that he was handling leadership all wrong. The Governor's ego took a hit. Michonne was grieving the loss of Andrea. Carl murdered a guy. Merle died. Maggie got her strength back. Glenn proposed. And Hershel, well he's Hershel. He's there to offer some words of wisdom, whether it be in support or disapproval of what's happening.
The Walking Dead returns Sunday, October 13 at 9:00 p.m. ET on AMC. Check out the previously released teaser here and read about the planned spinoff series here. Also, check out these photos from the Season 4 premiere below:
