Part The Waters For The Ten Commandments Gift Set
Cecil B. DeMille's The Ten Commandments practically defines "epic," so it's only fitting that the film will be getting an equally epic release in honor of its 55th anniversary. Paramount Home Entertainment has announced a whopping six-disc Blu-ray/DVD combo gift set slated to hit shelves on March 21st. It even comes with its own tablets (just don't drop them).
This set will be the first time Ten Commandments has been restored for high-definition, so the parting of the Red Sea will doubtless look better than ever. It will also include assorted Moses-approved goodies such as a commemorative book and the 1923 silent version. We've got the full specs and a look at the $59.99 set below. If that price sounds too steep, you'll also be able to pick up the restored film in two-disc Blu-ray ($24.99) and DVD ($14.99) editions.
