Remedy Entertainment announced today that Alan Wake is now available for PC via Steam's digital distribution platform. In addition to this, Remedy also announced that the game will be arriving on retail shelves soon for PC via Nordic Games.

Matias Myllyrinne, CEO at Remedy commented in the press release, saying...
“Since our roots are firmly placed in PC development, we’re delighted to finally be able to bring Alan Wake to the PC”... “We’ve worked hard to reward those faithful PC players and did everything we could to make it worth the wait. I hope the fans agree with us, the PC version looks absolutely stunning.”

The game, brand spanking new, is actually quite affordable unlike a lot of other digital PC releases that hit digital shelves at the $59.99 price point and don't even come with a hard copy. Alan Wake, alternatively, is available right now for only $29.99 and features high-end visuals, stereoscopic 3D support and free DLC in the collector's edition, which is available for $34.99, which isn't a bad price at all.

The PC version of Alan Wake releases just ahead of the upcoming sequel for the Xbox Live Arcade, Alan Wake's American Nightmare, which is scheduled to land on the Xbox Live Marketplace beginning February 22nd. For further info or to buy your copy of the game for PC right now, feel free to head on over to the Official Steam Page.
