Batman: Arkham Asylum hasn't racked up Dark Knight money but it's doing pretty well. It seems it's sold nearly two million copies since its release in the last week of August.
The sales figure was mentioned in passing in an LA Times article about DC Entertainment, a newly created unit within Warner Bros. DC Entertainment's objective is to make full use of DC Comics' properties in television, film, games, and other areas of entertainment. The restructuring was a response to rival Marvel Comics' acquisition by Disney last week.
Anyway, having pegged Arkham Asylum as a Game of the Year front-runner in my review, I'm pleased to hear that it's doing well at retail. Hopefully this means a sequel is in the works.
