If you've been waiting for that perfect Nintendo 3DS bundle to surface before making a purchase, or perhaps you've just been waiting on the upcoming strategy RPG, Fire Emblem: Awakening, well, Nintendo has a little somethin-somethin you might want to take a look at. It's a Fire Emblem 3DS bundle and, yes, it's coming to the United States.

Announced this weekend through Nintendo of America's Twitter feed, the Fire Emblem: Awakening 3DS bundle features a slick blue console with a Fire Emblem crest emblazoned across the front, as well as a copy of the game itself. Nothing in the tweet speaks of a release date or price point, but you can probably expect it to hit store shelves around the time the game launches on Feb. 4 and, based on previous 3DS bundles, probably for around $180.

In Fire Emblem: Awakening, players will create their own character and take on the role of the second in command for the Shepherds, a group of soldiers who protects the kingdom of Ylisse from marauding bandits. Given that this is an epic roleplaying game, you better believe that your merry band of mercenaries will eventually have to take a leading role in the struggle to protect Ylisse from outside forces. Players will build strong relationships with their allies outside of battle, and the game will offer weekly DLC to keep the story going, as well as StreetPass and SpotPass functionality.

If you're a strategy RPG fan who hasn't picked up a 3DS just yet, this might very well be the bundle to keep your eye on. We'll be sure to alert you once a solid release date and price point have been announced.
