Rockstar has narrowed down the date for the second Grand Theft Auto V trailer. The game will receive its new trailer next Wednesday, a day after Call of Duty: Black Ops II launches. Talk about aiming to steal the thunder of a top-end release.

Rockstar sent out a very barebones promotional poster indicating that Grand Theft Auto V's second trailer is coming. The poster, which you can view below, and is also available on their official blog, simply showcases a dude with a bat and a chained up dog. I'm not really into the whole “figuring stuff out” routine, so if there's clues in there feel free to point e'm out.

This news follows up on the recent announcement that Rockstar is also officially taking pre-orders for GTA V, which will undoubtedly break records for Take-Two by the time GTA V schedules to release in the spring of 2013.

Anyways, I'm sure the second trailer for the game will be rocket-busting. I really hope they showcase things we haven't already seen or at least give us a good impression of what we can expect without all the needless guesstimates.

Update: You can watch the second trailer here.
