Hilarious Wolf Among Us Mod Turns Bigby Into Pole Dancer

Telltale's The Wolf Among Us is typically a gritty detective story about fairy tale characters succumbing to their darkest desires. However, a new mod turns it into one of the funniest games of the year.

The video above shows the mod at work in a scene from Episode 3. After being badly wounded, Bigby has been patched up by Doctor Swineheart. In the normal version of the game, the two chat with Snow White and then Bigby puts his shirt on.

With the mod, though, the scene plays out very differently. Bigby grabs an invisible pole and thrusts against it like he's auditioning for the Magic Mike sequel. He then does it again. And again. And again.

My description really doesn't do it justice. You really need to watch the video yourself. I had tears in my eyes the first time I watched it.

At first many gamers thought this was a bug. If that was true, this would probably be in the running for funniest bug of all time. Unlike the death shield glitch in Battlefield 4, it's not hurting your enjoyment of the game either. If anything, it enhances the experience.

However, Telltale told Kotaku that this video depicts a fan-made modification. The mod's creator made it using animations from an earlier Wolf Among Us episode. Presumably the animations are from Episode 2, in which Bigby visits a gentleman's club called Pudding & Pie. While there, he witnesses a pole dance by a young lady.

Wolf Among Us is based on the Vertigo comic book series Fables. Fairytale characters have been driven to our world by an invading enemy. These characters, known as "Fables," have resettled in New York City to try and lead a normal life. When one of their own is murdered, however, Bigby (formerly known as the Big Bad Wolf) must find the killer.

Episode 3 of the game launched last week. The last two episodes should arrive in the coming months. You can buy the game on Xbox 360, PS3, PC, Mac or iOS.
