Subscribe To The Last Of Us Mo-Cap And Previsualization Trailers Released Updates
I'm not sure how important it is for gamers to see some of the more in-depth processes of video game development procedures, but Naughty Dog was nice enough to let slip a few of their behind-the-scenes methods for putting together the upcoming AAA PS3 exclusive, The Last of Us.

The trailers have no sound but it's more about giving gamers an idea of what the design process may be like for The Last of Us. As you'll see in the videos, most of the stuff is rough and sparse but the process itself tells us that Naughty Dog isn't just "winging it" and throwing anything out there for their fans.

It's kind of funny how they use Elena's model from Uncharted 3 in the pre-visual phase for's just kind of hilarious when you think about it.

The only thing I'm curious about is how well the actual gameplay will play out in terms of being cinematic. Will the game be closer to Uncharted 3 or will it be more cinematic like Heavy Rain? Will there a lot of gameplay freedom or a more streamlined, movie-type experience?

Of course, right now, Naughty Dog isn't talking too much about the game until it launches later this year. We'll be sure to keep you posted on additional updates and info as they trickle in for The Last of Us.
