Tomorrow’s PlayStation Plus update is a cut above the rest for Vita owners as Sony adds the fast and furious ninja antics of Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus to the instant game collection. While Ninja Gaiden is the featured game this week, PS3 subscribers will still have something to look forward to thanks to a handful of discounts also being offered for PSN games.

We reported earlier today that Sony has officially kicked off a promotion to add an additional three months onto every newly purchased yearlong subscription to PlayStation Plus. Now we know what tomorrow will hold for Plus members so, if any of this content catches your fancy, now might be the time to consider jumping in.

This week’s big plus release is the addition of Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus to the instant game collection. The PlayStation Vita title puts players behind the sword of one of the most notorious ninjas to ever grace a video game. Enhanced with new challenges and features, a well as brand new motion and touch controls, this is the most complete version of Sigma to date and, once the PlayStation store updates tomorrow afternoon, it’s free to all Plus subscribers.

This weeks Plus update is further fleshed out by a handful of sales, beginning with 30 percent off of Madden 13 for both the PlayStation 3 ($29.39) and PlayStation Vita ($19.59).

Twin stick shooter Gatling Gears, FPS Section 8: Prejudice and strategy title Greed Corp are also marked down for Plus subscribers this week, discounted 50 percent each. Gatling Gears and Greed Corp are both $2.50 for this promotion with Section 8: Prejudice going for five bucks.
