New Oddworld In Development, Munch's Oddysee And Stranger's Wrath Coming To PC

Oddworld Inhabitants co-founder and creative director Lorne Lanning revealed today that his company is planning another game in the Oddworld universe. Also, they intend to re-release some of the previous games digitally.

Abe's Oddysee and Abe's Exoddus, the first two entries in the series, will be released through PSN "soon" according to BitMob's interview with Lanning. Both games are already available through digital PC retailers like GOG. Munch's Oddysee and Stranger's Wrath, meanwhile, are going to be released for the PC this winter and sold with the older two games in an Oddbox bundle.

"Regarding new material, we hope to have an announcement soon, but I’ve been saying that for awhile now so I’ll just shut up and hope for the best," said Lanning. He hinted that their current projects are "online and social-based" but didn't elaborate further.
