The PlayStation 4 will revamp the user interface seen in the PS3. New screenshots from Sony demonstrate the changes that the new console's dashboard will bring.

The PS4 is big on social networking. Players can instantly stream their games online so that friends can watch and comment. Video clips and screenshots can be uploaded to Facebook via the DualShock 4's "share" button.

A few of the screenshots show the PS4's UI being viewed on a tablet or smartphone. Through a new PlayStation App for mobile devices, players can manage their PSN accounts, watch live streams of games, or download content to their console. There's also some talk of these devices being used as second screens for gameplay.

Sony plans to launch the PS4 this fall.
