Capcom announced the official system requirements for futuristic adventure Remember Me this weekend. A new set of accompanying screenshots show what a high-end computer can do with the game.

The art direction of Remember Me is one of the reasons the game has been generating buzz. The story takes place in Neo-Paris in the late 21st century. Older buildings exist alongside giant electric billboards and soaring skyscrapers. It's markedly different than the usual grittiness you see in futuristic video game cities.

To be fair, visuals aren't the only reason the game is intriguing. The developers at Dontnod Entertainment have built the game around some interesting features. Main character Nilin will be able to jump into another character's memories in order to "remix" them. The player can also build fighting move combinations in the Combo Lab.

Capcom didn't mention any PC-exclusive features other than better visuals. They did provide both the minimum and recommended specs, though:

  • OS: Windows Vista®/XP, Windows 7, Windows 8
  • Processor: Intel® CoreTM2 Duo 2.4 Ghz or better, AMD AthlonTM X2 2.8 Ghz or better
  • Memory: 2 GB RAM
  • Hard Disk Space: 9 GB free hard drive space
  • Video Card: NVIDIA® GeForce® 8800GTS or better, ATI RadeonTM HD 3850 or better

Earlier this week Capcom also announced the system requirements for Resident Evil: Revelations, another console action game also on the way for PC.
