Namco Bandai revealed today that they're going to be offering a Collector's Edition of PS3 RPG Tales of Xillia in both North America and Europe. The centerpiece of the bundle is a limited edition figure of protagonist Milla Maxwell.
The CE also includes an artbook and soundtrack CD. The whole bundle ships in limited edition packaging. Namco notes that the artwork for the box hasn't been finalized yet, though.
In Tales of Xillia, the kingdom of Rashugal has been draining the world's supply of mana. This draining process is killing the world. Medical student Jude Mathis and Milla Maxwell, a woman with spirit-like companions, will team up to stop Rashugal and restore the land.
Players can experience the game as Jude or Milla. Regardless of your choice, the core of the game is real-time combat. The Double Raid Linear Motion Battle System allows characters to team up and unleash powerful cooperative attacks. It's up to the player, then, to figure out which characters work best together.
Tales of Xillia debuted in Japan in 2011. It will make its way to North America and Europe on August 6th and 9th, respectively. The Western version is said to be identical to the Japanese version, save for localized text and voice acting.
