Subscribe To Uplay PC Launches With $1 Games Updates
It seems like half of the video game publishers out there have their own digital distribution platform set up these days and, as of now, Ubisoft is no different. Using Gamescom as the official launching point, Ubisoft today revealed that Uplay PC is officially ready to roll. As an added bonus to get folks to check it out, they’re offering a selection of games for just $1, too.

Uplay PC offers all of the bells and whistles we’ve all come to expect out of a digital platform. You can buy, download and launch Ubisoft games from a single location now, as well as take advantage of additional features like chat, friends lists, special promotions, etc. All you have to do is head over to the Uplay PC website, download the client and, bingo, you’re up and running.

“Uplay PC is a great way for customers to discover Ubisoft’s games, connect with their friends and gaming communities and win achievements and content that’s not available anywhere else,” said Ubisoft’s Director for Online Games, Stephanie Perotti.

To make the effort worth your while, Ubisoft is offering a collection of games for $1 for a limited time. Driver: San Francisco, From Dust, , and Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X. 2 can all be yours for the price of a cheeseburger on McDonald’s extra value menu. In case that’s still not enough savings to whet your appetite, games like Anno 2070, Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, Assassin’s Creed Revelations, Might and Magic: Heroes VI and Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction have also been discounted up to 75 percent off.

“For PC gamers that are already fans of Ubisoft’s titles or have been considering trying some of our classics, this promotion is a great deal, and our way of saying thank you for their support,” Perotti added.
