Though the fall and winter movie season is very much in full swing, there are still a handful of 2012 films that nobody has gotten a look at, and it's hard to think of one more hotly anticipated than Django Unchained. Quentin Tarantino's follow-up to Inglourious Basterds reunites him with a few actors who have been in his previous films, like Zoe Bell and Samuel L. Jackson, but none more prominent than Christoph Waltz, who won an Oscar for playing Hans Landa in Inglourious Basterds and joins Tarantino again to play German bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz in Django.

Tarantino's Civil War-set film is being compared to Gone With The Wind by some of the actors who have worked on it, and with Waltz teaming up with Jamie Foxx in the lead roles, it might just be able to live up to that hype. For a close-up look at Waltz's character, check out his brand-new character poster, which debuted at Empire.

Don't be alarmed by the 2013 on that poster-- this is a British poster, and they'll be getting the release a bit later.

We got an even better look at Waltz's character in the new trailer for the film that debuted last week, but of course, it might be hard to keep an eye on him given how many people he's sharing the screen with. In addition to Foxx in the title role, there's Kerry Washington as his wife Broomhilda, Leonardo DiCaprio as the evil plantation owner Calvin Candie, plus Don Johnson, Jonah Hill, Amber Tamblyn, Bruce Dern, Robert Carradine, Walton Goggins, Ned Bellamy and more all popping up in roles. You never know just how much of them you'll see-- Tarantino is as infamous as Terrence Malick for cutting actors out of his film at the last minute-- but no matter what happens, Django Unchained will be packed with enough people you want to see.

Quentin Tarantino's next film comes to theaters December 25. Click here to learn much more about it.
