New Despicable Me Trailer And Images: Pure Evil, Dr. Evil

Despicable Me has a new trailer and it’s just as strange and unexpected as the last one. This time, we get a little clearer picture of what the movie might be about. Super villains. Steve Carrell’s strangely accented bald character, Gru, is the world’s number two super villain and he’d very much like to be number one.

In the trailer, he attempts to assault the lair of the world’s number one villain and meets with stiff resistance of the type that would do Dr. Evil proud. I’ve said for years now that Mike Meyers should have really just dropped the Austin Powers from Austin Powers after the second movie and given Dr. Evil his own movie. Well now someone’s doing it, only in animated form.
