Imagi Entertainment has a whole host of animation projects they’re supposedly turning into movies. So far, we’ve seen very little from any of them. Today though, they released a first look at Gatchaman, based on an old anime series about a 5-member superhero team.
The clips and images they’ve released make the thing look a lot like Speed Racer, which didn’t work so well for the Wachowskis, but maybe will work better in a purely animated movie. Here’s the clip, followed by a few images from the film. Don’t blink, it’s a really short teaser:
