Go On A Rock 'N Roll Boat Trip With The First Trailer For The Catechism Cataclysm

It would seem that Steve Little is a big fan of irreverent humor. After playing Stevie Janowski for two seasons on the incredibly screwed up HBO comedy Eastbound and Down, Little is now starring in the movie The Catechism Cataclysm a comedy from the mind of Todd Rohal. In the film, the actor plays a priest named Father William who decides to go with a friend on a boat trip and...you know what, I think I'll just let the trailer speak for itself.

This movie looks incredibly funny but also pretty messed up. In many ways it actually reminds me of Hesher, only without the more dramatic bits (but they may just be keeping those out of the trailer). The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year and has since toured around the globe, playing at SXSW, the Independant Film Festival of Boston and the Atehns Film Festival. Produced by Jody Hill, Danny McBride and David Gordon Green (all three of whom work with Little on Eastbound & Down), The Catechism Cataclysm is set to hit theaters on October 19th.
