Horror Film The Intruders Gets A Creepy Poster

Have you ever found yourself holding your breath while watching someone in some kind of drowning situation in a movie? Maybe that’s just me, but the poster for the upcoming horror film The Intruders inspires a similar uncomfortable reaction. Actually, judging by what we’re looking at, the scene in The Matrix when Neo’s mouth disappears might be a better comparison to make here.

Directed by 28 Weeks Later‘s Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, The Intruders stars Clive Owen and tells the story of two kids in different countries, each of whom are visited each night by “a faceless being” that wants to posses them. “The line between the real and the imaginary blurs as fissures start to open within the family unit. It seems that no security measure can keep Hollow Face out.”

The film was shown at a number of festivals last year, and appears to have already released in numerous countries in Europe already. It hits theaters in the U.S. in April.

Below is the poster for the movie, which shows a man with no eyes and know face.

No eyes. No mouth. Very creepy. I also like how the red title is distorted slightly to fit over the place where the eyes should be.
