I love it when something sneaks up on me, and that’s exactly what Death Sentence has done. It’s an R-rated revenge flick starring Kevin Bacon, and until this morning when I saw it’s title floating on Yahoo’s new trailer list, I’d never heard of it.
It’s directed by Saw’s James Wan and stars the likes of Bacon, Goodman, Kelly Preston, and Aisha Tyler in the story of a guy who decides that the only way to get justice is to dish it out himself. A dirty and possibly moldy John Goodman provides the guns and Kevin Bacon sets out to protect his family by kicking all kinds of bad guy ass.
Death Sentence has sort of dropped out of nowhere, but it opens next month and actually looks kind of good. Click here and take a look at the trailer.
